Hi all, I just got back from Le Mans with nice pictures for you!

The « 24h du Mans » in France is something every car journalist have to do at least once in his life. I just had the chance to cover this event. Okay, I admit that at midnight, watching all those people drunk dying on the sand is not the funniest part. No… This is something more intense.

You enter on the track for the first time, and suddenly, you are inside *something*, but when I mean something, it’s more like a **SOMETHING** (huge).

Just after one of the car leaves the paddocks, I run across the track, jump over the lane and rush to take some pictures. I only had a few minutes before the race’s starts, so I had to hurry. Clac! Just next to me, I shoot this wonderful Audi.

I take a look at the picture, ok, it’s good. Next. Gosh! I still have my 70-300mm lens, I need to change it and go on the main track. But too late, I have to leave. The race is starting.

When I started taking pictures of cars, I wasn’t fascinated by this subject. Now it’s different. The first reason is that it is very fun to do, and the second is that it is a very good exercise. But one of the thing I prefer when doing my different artistic hobbies, it is when I get into a strong universe. It’s when you start to watch people deep in the eyes and think: « What is this guy’s state of mind? Why is he doing that? », then it starts to become interesting. Whatever I do, I am passionate about understanding different universes. This is my way to open my mind, and learn…
